It has not changed much since its first release in 2007 and it is easy to see why it has been so successful. The more levels you clear, the more points you earn, so you will always want to try to clear as many levels as you can. Since it is a trial version of the game, you do not need to purchase any credits to play it. However, you can buy in-game currency in order to speed up the progress in a level. You also have the ability to "Puzzle Freeze" a level in order to skip it and continue playing the game.
There are a few different types of gumballs to collect. Colorful gumballs have a unique ability. Collecting them is vital to clearing levels. Each level has a gumball icon that appears when you clear enough gumballs. As you go along clearing the levels, you will earn experience points and a level icon will show up on the right-hand side of the screen. Collecting more experience points and level icons will give you special boosts to get you to the next level.
